Baked Sausage and Bean Casserole (Low-Calorie)

A lightened French-style bake pairing lean pork sausage with white beans simmered in tomato-herb sauce, then finished under a thin layer of melted cheese. Uses modest sausage, extra vegetables and restrained cheese to keep it filling but calorie-controlled, served straight from the baking dish.
