Japanese Sweet Bean Bread Sandwich (Low-Calorie)

An anpan-style sandwich built on a lightly sweetened milk bread roll, filled with a thinned, reduced-sugar red bean paste and a thin layer of light cream cheese. The soft crumb and mild adzuki sweetness stay recognisable while sugar and fat are trimmed, giving a modest, satisfying snack-sandwich.

Instructions

1
Prep Drain the cooked adzuki beans in a small sieve and transfer to a small saucepan.
2

4
Build Slice the brioche roll horizontally. Spread the light cream cheese on the bottom half, spoon the bean paste evenly over it, close the roll, and press lightly.
