Prep Drain the beans and mash roughly in a bowl. Mix in breadcrumbs, onion, cumin, paprika, and flaxseed, then shape into two thick patties.

Fry Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties 4 minutes a side until a crisp brown crust forms and they hold together firmly.

Toast Wipe the pan and toast the bun halves cut-side down over medium heat 1 minute until golden. Mash the avocado with a pinch of salt.
